About
Following the hype of QuizUp and QuizDuell the german brand ProSiebenSat.1 Games made plans to release their own version of a trivia game - one that focuses on football only. The branding and name for the app derived from ran, a sub-brand which is a well known television sports program in Germany.

My role
I designed the whole app and also prepared the screen structure in the Xcode Interface Builder. During the project I worked closely with a deveoper.

The app was released as free-to-play with ads. An In-app purchase removed the ads and also unlocked an Avatar Editor to customise ones Player Profile.

Recap

randuell was one of my first Apps designed for a client with multiple iterations. The close collaboration with the leading developer which also managed the project helped me to understand the importance of communication rather than working in a silo. I also learned more about Xcode, how to compile storyboards in the Interface builder and create connections with the code. All in all it was fun to work on this project which got broad coverage on German media.
